Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority-s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. The Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Authority (AMLA) is planning to procure services for the provision of legal advice and potentially legal representation for transactions in relation to German real estate. As such the service provider will need to have all the professional certifications and authorisations to provide legal advice and representation services in Germany on real estate (commercial property) law. Specific expertise in respect of legal arrangements relating to building maintenance and zoning would also be needed. The legal advice and support would relate to the authority-s intention to negotiate the lease of commercial premises in Frankfurt-am-main. The advice could cover such aspects as the obligations of landlord, the duties and rights of the authority as a tenant, specific aspects relating to the performance of lease contracts, as well as such as aspects as provisions for termination, service charges, sinking funds, capital contributions, alterations, and any other issues that might arise from the landlord/tenant relationship. Other possible areas of advice, assistance and representation could relate to: • German fire safety regulations and occupational Health & Safety legislation to the Agency; • building and facility management matters and service contracts; • any other property law matters that may arise. The services would also potentially entail the preparation of documentation, as well as representation before authorities, courts and in arbitration in relation to such matters as well as the conduct of property related operations the municipality of Frankfurt am Main and any other (public) bodies or authorities, including preparation of the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Authority-s position.
