Detailed_Description : Services to Support the French-language Liste Trillium of TextbooksThe Vendor will provide the following specialized services to support the Ministry of Education-s delivery of the French-language Trillium List and the provisions of the Ministry-s Guidelines for Approval of Textbooks and Submission Procedures for Textbooks for the Trillium List, available on the Ministry-s web site at Liste Trillium | ontario.ca A.Evaluate submitted learning resources (hard copy and/or digital, as required) and make recommendations to the Ministry regarding their approval or non-approval as Liste Trillium textbooks supporting the Ontario French-language curriculum B.Manage stakeholder interactions regarding the textbook evaluation process for the French-language Liste TrilliumC.Ensure storage of the learning resources that are submitted and/or approved by the Ministry for the French-language Liste Trillium
Scope of Work : The Ministry of Education routinely contracts a Vendor to provide a specialized evaluation services that support the Ministry-s continued delivery of the French-language Liste Trillium of textbooks. These services are explained in detail in section 1.3 Deliverables and require expertise and experience specific to: (i) Ontario-s curriculum policies, (ii) its publicly funded French-language education system, and (iii) the Canadian publishing industry that submits learning resources for the Ministry-s consideration as textbooks. Note: The Ministry separately procures services to support the English-language Trillium List (RFB 2048), which are not part of the present RFB.The Liste Trillium contains the titles of all current textbooks (hard copy and/or digital) that educators may use to teach students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 in Ontario-s publicly funded French-language schools. Textbooks on the Liste Trillium are approved by the Minister of Education. The Ministry posts the up-to-date titles of the textbooks on Liste Trillium | ontario.caThe Minister-s authority to approve textbooks and publish the Liste Trillium is established under the Education Act.
