THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION, OR BID AND THERE IS CURRENTLY NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE.EPA intends to award a firm fixed price contract under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repairing, with a size standard of 1, 250 employees for this requirement. This is a Great Lakes Region requirement and the anticipated award date is August 1, 2024 and the projected Period of Performance will run from award date thru October 15, 2024. The successful Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, facilities and services to support the efforts delineated by the draft statement of work (SOW), which we have included as an attachment in FedConnect; https://www.fedconnect.net/. The following general work specifications are required: • Temporary Services• Drydock and Routine Drydock Work• Underwater Hull Coating, • Tailshafts and Bearings Inspection and Repairs • Repair Main Water Line• Rudder Steering Gear Service• Sewage Tank Level Indicator• Chemical Hygiene Tank Clean• Forepeak Void Paint• Fuel Tank(s) Level IndicatorsThe following optional items may be required, and will be included in the proceeding solicitation: • Polish and Clean Propellers • Inspection and Preservation of Ground Tackle• Hull and Superstructure PaintInterested and qualified potential vendors should submit a capability statement to demonstrate their experience.
