Description
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), Division of Intramural Research (DIR), Office of The Clinical Director (OCD) plans to procure, on a sole source basis, skin biopsy analysis for the study of Small Fiber Neuropathies from:

The response close date of the notice for this requirement is in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be made pursuant to the authority in FAR Part 13.106-1 (b)(1) and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541380 and the business size standard is $19 million.
The NCCIH/DIR/OCD requires the total process of INTiDYN ChemoMorphometric Analysis (ITD-CMA) which is unique to Integrated Tissue Dynamics, LLC. Integrated Tissue Dynamics is the sole vendor available that has access to the required (ITD-CMA) system, as well as the level and range of published and unpublished research experience. For data continuity purposes, NCCIH requires the same analysis services from Integrated Tissue Dynamics so the branch can continue conducting the existing studies. Under the previous award PO 75N91023P00703, INTiDYN provided the analysis for samples for the study of Small Fiber Neuropathies. The current requirement is a continuation of this line of NCCIH research and Contractor services, to continue biomarker development.
