A powerful software defined radio (SDR) is required, which is suitable for applications in wireless communication, radar technology and signal processing. In particular, suitable options for synchronization should be integrated into a network of SDR and operated together. As part of the project goal, this should in particular be enabled to validate radar functionalities (a so -called radar target simulation). To implement the above functionalities, it should have a large frequency bandwidth and high sampling rate in order to be able to record, process and send radio signals.
