ISSUE DATE 07 FEB 2024 - CLOSING DATE 14 FEB 2024 - 4:00 PM Eastern Time

ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for annual maintenance for Government owned TA Instruments: Discovery Thermal Instruments DSC2500, Discovery Refrigerated Cooling System RCS90, Discovery TGA 5500, Q400, Q800 Systems and Thermal Analysis Accessories and Discovery xenon Flash Diffusivity System DxF200.

The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, TA Instruments - Water L.L.C, of New Castle, DE, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This is being sole sourced because TA Instruments - Waters L.L.C. is the original equipment manufacturer of this equipment and holds patent and proprietary rights to all data, drawings, and schematics. They also have trained and licensed technical personnel and repair/replacement parts to enable timely and accurate repairs. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
