Description
The 673d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, intends to award a firm fixed price, single-source contract to Woodway USA, Waukesha, Wisconsin, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of a Carver model treadmill built to mimic downhill skiing and snowboarding. The dimensions can exceed 62” W x 62” L x 74” H and the power supply must be 115 VAC 20Amp. Delivery is included to the 673rd FSS located at Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson, Alaska.
“Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this notice until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this notice, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.
The circumstances of this contract action deem one single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capability statements to perform the requirement in writing to david.may.27@us.af.mil and robert.briggs.13@us.af.mil no later than 2:00 PM, AKDT, Friday, 06 October 2023. The interested organizations must specify their ability to provide a comparable produce with installation, delivery, and operator training. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
