Description
This procurement will be issued as a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) through RFP procedures under FAR 15 and other FAR Parts and Subparts as applicable. The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) has a requirement for Mobile Trailer Pad Prep for PET-CT, Project #598-23-505. The tentative date for issuing the RFP is on or around June 21, 2024, with proposals due approximately 30 calendar days later on or around July 22, 2024. There will be no public bid opening. The anticipated contract award date is approximately 30 days or less after receipt of proposals. The recommended period of performance is 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Location of the work is at the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital (JLM), 4300 W. 7th Street, in Little Rock, AR 72205. The point of contact for this notice is Contract Specialist, Julius Jones at Julius.Jones@va.gov. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. Abbreviated Scope of Work: The Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition, removal of existing structures, furnish labor and materials, and to perform the work to Mobile Trailer Pad Prep for PET-CT as described in the project Scope of Work (SOW), Drawings, and Specifications. Contractor to provide all required utilities for VA Purchase of a PET-CT Scan Mobile Trailer. Trailer will be located outside the VA Emergency Department and North Lobby Entrance, where a current Pharmacy Mobile Trailer is located. The Pharmacy trailer will be removed prior to work starting. Contractor to verify electrical, telecom, water, drainage, and sewer hook ups are compatible with the PET-CT scan Mobile Trailer. Some utilities are existing around the pad, but contractor to verify size and connections are compatible.
