Sources Sought for United States Geological SurveyOffice of Acquisition and Grants Reston Branch This is a sources sought announcement only. This source sought is for acquisition planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Any cost incurred as a result of the announcement shall be borne by the interested party (prospective offeror) and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. Scope: DEPTH LOGGERS AND WAVE RECORDERSSALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:65 EA, Depth Logger:Shall be a submersible single-channel pressure logger capable of intermittent and continuous wave burst measurement & tidal averaging.Shall be capable of sampling at speeds up to 16 Hz bursts with wave analysis.Shall be capable of operating on one (1) user replaceable AA battery.Shall have a plastic housing.Shall have a pressure measurement range of 20 meters and measurement time constant of less than 10 ms.Shall have a pressure accuracy of ±0.05% full scale or better and a resolution of 0.001% full scale or better. Shall be capable of USB downloading.Shall be capable of storing at least 20 million readings.
