THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Proposal/Bid and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice.

Military Sealift Command (MSC) Contracting Office is seeking eligible businesses for the Midterm Availability (MTA) and Drydocking (DD) on the USNS GRUMMAN (T-AO 195) commencing on or about 18 February 2025 for a period of one hundred fifty-six (156) calendar days. The USNS GRUMMAN has an overall length of 678 FT, a breadth of 98 FT, and a draft of 36 FT. Work is to be performed at the Contractor-s facility on or about the above mentioned dates. Area of consideration is East/Gulf Coast. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about 24 July 2024.

Major work items associated with this availability include: General Services for Ship, Clean and Gas Free Tanks and Voids, Main Deck Preservation, Pedestrian Non-Skid, Superstructure Blast and Paint AFT House, Windows and Doors re-gasketing and Steel Repairs, Steel Repairs Main Deck 01-02-06 Level, Deck Expansion Joint Repairs, Tank Steel Repairs, Steel Replacement Clean Linen Storeroom, CT Winch Room Repairs, Preservation Cargo Tank 8C, Preservation Ballast 2 P/S and 1 Deep, Preservation Pump Room Cargo Oily Waste, STBD Main Engine 12K Overhaul, STBD Main Engine Clutch and Coupling Maintenance (5 YR), STBD PTO Clutch and Coupling Eaton and Geislinger (5YR), Drydocking and Undocking The Vessel (25 YR), Pull Tailshaft and Replace Shaft Liner, Propeller System Maintenance(25 YR), and Stern Tube Seal Maintenance (25 YR).
