Description
The AFLCMC/HBAK Contracting Office intends to solicit and award a sole-source contract for Contractor Logistics Support in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, “only one (1) responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”. This is not a solicitation, but rather a Request for Sources Sought/Information to identify companies that have the capability to provide logistics support for quantity two ATNAVICS version 10, a Collins Aerospace (RTx Business) product.
ATNAVICS is a self-contained, rapidly deployable system packaged on two High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs). Each unit is equipped with its own trailer that also serves as a storage trailer during transportation. The units that make up ATNAVICS are the sensor pallet (unit 1), sensor trailer (unit 2), operations shelter (unit 3), and operations trailer (unit 4).
The sensor pallet carries an x-band Precision Approach Radar (PAR), an S-band Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR), and an L-band Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR). The sensor trailer is equipped with a 30-kW generator that powers the sensor pallet when deployed to remote sites. The operations shelter houses two Air Traffic Control (ATC) controller consoles, radio communications equipment, communication access unit, a GPS unit, environmental control unit, and personnel support equipment. The operations trailer is equipped with a 10-kW generator that is used to power the operations shelter when deployed to remote sites. The fiber optic interface is used to link data to the operations shelter, which can be located up to 3281 feet (1km) from the sensor pallet.The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to identify companies that could provide logistics support on or before September 2025, with options to support Air Force ATNAVICS sustainment effort until 2035.
