Description

Notice of intent to use a brand name product. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is performing a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide aircraft parking apron edge lighting. The product must have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the ADB Safegate Reliance 8 inch (Part Number RSAM301P3NYNM101).

FY24 MCAF Project 180500, Bomber Apron, located on Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Tindal (TDL), Australia requires aircraft parking apron edge lighting similar to the following item:

ADB Safegate Reliance 8 inch (Part Number RSAM301P3NYNM101). The requirements for the aircraft parking apron edge lighting are:

Photometric performance Must meet the requirements of Part 139 MOS, ICAO Annex 14, DASDRM Section 6 Must as closely as possible match the photometric performance of interfacing taxiway centreline lights on Parallel Taxiway Alpha Compatibility of components between separate light types to facilitate maintenance Compatibility of components with light base types ADB Safegate, Reliance 8 inch (Part Number RSAM301P3NYNM101)This notification is for market research purposes only to identify if other potential sources of supply can meet the requirements of the Government. This is not a request for proposals, quotes, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify other potential sources of this product.
