Description
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source contract to S&P Global Market Intelligence, LLC at 55 Water St 40 Fl., New York, New York 10041 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
The IRS has a requirement for S&P's RatingsDirect Web-Based Research Database, which allows the IRS to verify pricing of intercompany financing transactions for those taxpayers using S&P ratings methodology. S&P's methodology is proprietary and cannot be provided by any other source.
This is not a request for competitive proposals. Potential sources who believe they can provide the service listed above are invited to submit a capability package in writing to aundra.m.rhone-jones@irs.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Please note: A SOLICITATION DOES NOT ExIST. The Government will not cover any costs for any information or inquiry submitted as a result of this notice.
The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 519290. The small business size standard is 1000 employees.
This notice of intent is for informational purposes only.
