Matching funds will be provided by the State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources. The project site is located within the Kenai Peninsula Borough with access from the Tustumena Lake Road. The purpose of the project is to make improvements to the Johnson Lake State Recreation Area.Proposed actions include the following elements: Pave approximately 115, 000 square feet of road and parking areas; Stripe the finished pavement; Expand the boat launch parking area; Install electrical hook-ups for each of the campsites at the RV campground; Run underground electrical to service the electrical hook-ups; Install junction boxe...
