Tender Details

The primary objective of this project is to evaluate the structural performance and design a comprehensive structural health monitoring (SHM) program for the Altawan Dam Structures. This includes first conducting a background study, site inspections, and structural stability evaluation to determine the SHM needs for the Altawan Dam Structures. Following this, a comprehensive SHM program will be designed. The project will be divided into two phases: (a) Phase 1: Background Study, Inspection, and Stability Evaluation Phase 1 will include a comprehensive structural site inspection, reviewing existing data, identifying knowledge gaps, and conducting a structural stability analysis of the concrete spillway. (b) Phase 2: Detailed Design of SHM Program Phase 2 will include a design of a SHM program, including instrumentation and identifying monitoring criteria. Phase 3 which includes the field installation of the designed SHM system is not included in the scope of this RFQ. However, WSA may enter into an agreement for Phase 3 deliverables with the successful consultant. WSA makes no guarantee of exclusivity or volume of work to be awarded beyond the scope of this RFQ. Phase 3 would include procuring, installing, and commissioning of instrumentation based on an accepted designed SHM program. 1.2 RFQ
