Expression of Interest are invited for supply of analytical and microbiological laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance services.
SCOPE OF WORK
Conditions
1. Calibration vendor must have accreditation by a national body to carry calibration. Must carry a certificate of accreditation for the metrology/ scope of service they are accredited for
2. Must be able to retail the results of calfcration and verification as documented information for over a period of 6 years.
3. The calibration of all the equipment shall be traceable to international or national measurement standards; where no standards exist the basis used for calibration or verification shall be retailed as documented information.
4 The accreditation certificates must bear the accreditation body logo
5. Must provide calibration stickers, report and certificate of calibration for each calibrated equipment.
A calibration report must at a minimum stipulate the following:
I A title (e.g., lest report", "calibration certificate" or "report of sampling").
II. Tne name and address of the laboratory or service provider
III. Trie location of performance of the laboratory activities, including when performed at a customer facility or at sites away from the laboratory's permanent facilities, or in associated temporary or mobile facilities.
PV. Unique identification that al its components are recognized as a portion of a complete report and a clear identification of the end.
V. The name and contact information of the customer
VI. Identification of the method used.
VII. Adescription, unambiguous identification, and, when necessary, the condition of the item.
VIII The date of receipt of the test or calibration rtem(s), and the date of sampling, where this is critical to the validity and application of the results
Ix. The date(s) of performance of the laboratory activity.
x. TTie date of issue of the report
xI. Reference to the sampling plan and sampling method used by the laboratory or other bodies where these are relevant to the validity or application of the results.
xII. A statement to the effect that the results relate only to the items tested, calibrated or sampled. xIII The results with, where appropriate, the units of measurement
xIV. Additions to. deviations, or exclusions from the method.
xV. Identification of the person(s) authorizing the report.
xVI. Clear identification when results are from external providers
In addition to the requirements listed in 5 above, calibration certificates shall include the following:
I. The measurement uncertainty of the measurement result presented in the same unit as that of the measurand
II. The conditions (e.g.. environmental) under which the calibrations were made that have an influence on the measurement results
III. A statement identifying how the measurements are metrotogicalry traceable.
IV. The results before and after any adjustment or repair, rf available
V. Where relevant, a statement of conformity with requirements or specifications
VI. Where appropriate, opinions and interpretations.
SUBMISIONS
All interested parties (local) should submit the folowing-
■ Valid Accreditation Certificates for different Metrologies, i.e., pressure, volume, mass, temperature, conductivity, Filtration, Force, Torque, etc
• Certificates or qualifications of the personnel/technician who w* be performing the calibration.
