Supply and Installation for baggage identification and tracking system in Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)
Description:-The scope of the works includes the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, training, maintenance and warranty of a Baggage Identification and Tracking (BIT) System at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for Customs & Excise Department (C&ED). The BIT System shall adopt custom-made Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions with the use of fusion technologies consists of RFID and Video Analytics (VA) to achieve high accuracy of target identification and tracking. The Contract is scheduled to commence in August 2023 for completion in December 2024.
Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Confirmed contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Video Electronics Installation" or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being a confirmed contractor on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Video Electronics Installation" who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.
