Tenders are invited for Supply and Replacement of Aged and Fragile Transmission and Distribution Mains across Trinidad.

This project aims to Supply and Replace Aged and Fragile Transmission and Distribution Mains Across
Trinidad. The selected areas include:
Package 1 - Freeport Todd's to La Cuesa Junction
Package 2 - La Cuesa Junction to Bridge (east of Mission Road and Freeport Todd-s Road
Junction
Package 3 - Nelson Street
Package 4 - Riverside Road, Curepe
Package 5 - Morequito Avenue, Valsayn

nterested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the Water
and Sewerage Authority (WASA) at the address below between the hours of 0800 to 1400 hours, Trinidad and
Tobago time commencing from April 18
th
, 2024. A complete set of bidding documents in the English language
may be obtained by interested bidders on the submission of an emailed application to the address below:

the emailed application.
Qualification requirements will include but are not limited to the following and other details are provided in
the Bidding Document:
Personnel - (Project /Construction Manager, Site Supervisor/Foreman, Health and Safety Officer, Community
Liaison /Social Specialist and Project Team).
Financial Standing - Adequacy of financial resources as evidenced by reports on financial standing and
Letter of Comfort by a recognized bank or financial institution.
A Pre-bid Meeting will be conducted via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 7
th May, 2024 at 10.00am (Trinidad
and Tobago Time). A Microsoft teams link will also be provided. Details on the Site Visit is provided in
bidding documents and will be finalized at the Pre-bid meeting.
Bids must be delivered to the address below by Tuesday 4
th June, 2024 at 14.00 hours (Trinidad and
Tobago Time). Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of bidders-
representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 14.30 hours Trinidad and Tobago
time on Tuesday 4
th June, 2024.
