The contract includes the design, production and implementation of a new laser pilot (laser system replacing the current pilot) which delivers the beam to the PETAL laser chain within the CEA/CESTA LMJ facility. Beyond safety, security and clean requirementss at the LMJ/PETAL facility that the pilot will have to satisfy, the main laser performances required will be as follows: 2 Hz single-shot rate, an energy of 200 mJ associated with a super Gaussian spectrum of 8 nm at mid-height centered around 1053 nm. The contract also includes the supplyture of the entire computer architecture, hardware and software, necessary for the operation of the pilot. The supply will include the control software and the equipment simulators allowing validation of the control-command (the hardware and the software) on a dedicated platform inamont de l'installation sur site.
