WF is implementing the “Establishment of a Health Network in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda” Project, AID 012519/01/1, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation - Nairobi Regional Office, with the aim of improving Mother and Child Health in four Counties of Kenya: Nairobi, Kilifi, Nuyandarua and Meru. Specifically, the intervention was designed to increase the availability and quality of assistance and care services for pregnant women and newborns, with the aim of reducing maternal and neonatal mortality rates in the target areas.
