Wireless transmitters are vastly used in Bahrain oil field to monitor wells performance, those transmitters work on batteries which require changing every two (2) years. Currently many wells communication are down due to shortage in those batteries. Batteries are replaced on routine basis by Maintenance team (Instrumentation & Automation).
