· Specifications. CI would like to purchase sheep shearing equipment similar or equivalent to what is described below: The equipment will be delivered to Conservation South Africa-s offices situated at 110 Main Rd, Matatiele, Eastern Cape. CSA invites all eligible suppliers to provide your best offer for this solicitation by the due date stated in part 2.
· 3 x wool sorting tables with detachable legs (steel frame - 2.6m x 1.3 m x 0.9m)
· 3 x piece picking tables with detachable legs (steel frame - 1.9m x 1.3 m x 0.9 m)
· 30 x collapsible wool bins (steel frame with diamond mesh sides - 1.9m x 1.2m x 1.2m)
· 12 x portable wool baskets on wheels (angle iron frame and 35 mm welded mesh -0.6m x 0.6m x 0.6 m)
· 8 x shearing boards (18 mm marine ply on 75 mm frame - 1.2m x 1.2 m with drain holes
· 3 x mechanical cable wool press (1.2m x 0.750 m x 0.750m)
· 4 x 300kg wool scales (electronic with rechargeable battery)
· 40 x sheep shears (manual)
· 8 x bale lifting hooks
· 4 x Duraplastic collapsible tables 1.8 m x 0.9m with aluminium legs
· 8 x chairs (Duraplastic plastic seats with aluminium frames)
· 8 x Hooks for closing bales
Conservation South Africa CSA) is implementing the (Promoting regenerative agriculture in the communal wool sector of South Africa: building gender representivity, sustainable rangeland management and market readiness in the Maputuland-Pondoland-Albany Hotspot.). Within this context, CSA is procuring specialized equipment to enable CSA-s community mobile sheep shearing activities in the Upper Umzimvubu catchment (Eastern Cape):
