Tender Details

The World Bank is working with the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD) to undertake a carbon credit pilot. Under this engagement, BRD, with support from the World Bank, is piloting carbon market transactions using pipeline projects from their loan portfolio. The pilot aims to incentivize practice change among BRD-s clients towards climate mitigation projects by quantifying and verifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions and monetizing them as carbon credits through voluntary of compliance carbon markets.
