Framework agreement for the delivery of armored suits, tropics, 3 and 5 FTD with vector protection in the period 2023 to 2029.

The intention is to carry out a Europe-wide award procedure for the award of armored suits, tropics, 3 and 5 color camouflage print, flame-retardant with vector protection.

The tankCombination, tropics is part of the field clothing for tank crews and is compatible with the ballistic body armor vests and personal protective equipment introduced in the German Armed Forces. The armor combination tropics must permanently offer a high level of comfort and protection against:

- Flammen

- Reconnaissance (optical/optronic), IR camouflage

- Vectors

Note on industrial property rights:

The pattern construction for the basic cut was set up according to the "Overall" patent registered by the German Armed Forces. The cut is subject to federal patent DE 10 2005 039 035 B3 2006.10.19defense and may only be used as part of a

BW order.

Note on the required flame treatment test:

Flame treatment of the entire system according to Section 2.1.20 according to work instructions AAW WIS/340-80-800-001. For reasons of comparability of the results and standard deviations, the flaming test isTesting institute "Wehrscientific Institute for Protection Technologies - NBC Protection (WIS)"
