Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Coatesville VA Medical Center (CVAMC), 1400 BlackhorseHill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320, has a requirement for temporary stationary engineers(operators).
The contractor shall provide temporary stationary engineers (operators) to supplement the boilerplant staff of the facility-s central power plant.
The contractor shall supply qualified Level 1 Boiler Operator (1st Class Stationary Engineer)personnel to perform watch-standing duties and responsibilities associated with the operationand maintenance of the CVAMC-s Central Power Plant boilers.
Contractor personnel will be required to operate and maintain the boiler plant including, but notlimited to: starting and stopping boilers, rental boilers, and ancillary equipment; routine boilerchemical tests and adding water treatment chemicals as necessary; and the maintenance andcleaning of boilers and central power plant equipment.
