This Tender is for the establishment of a Preferred Supplier Arrangement for the collection and recycling of used tyres from multiple Rockhampton Regional Council sites.Tyres are to be transported and tracked in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Regulation is 2008 and the Waste Reduction and Recycling Regulation 2011.Tenderers are to provide Council with evidence of their Certificate of Registration from the Department of Environment and Resource Management to undertake the activity of Tyre Recycling.Tenderers are to provide details of their tyre recycling activities e.g. recycled into rubber granules and fine powders, used for road embankment stabilisation and/or used for fuel etc.
