Description: The Solidarity Race "City of Esplugues" is a sports and solidarity event of popular city consolidated in the calendar of sports events in Esplugues de Llobregat. It has been held 11 editions and has general objectives: • To encourage active lifestyles and healthy habits, highlighting the role of physical activity and sport as an essential good. • Encourage the practice of individual physical activity by the citizenry through a great participatory and solidarity event in the city. • Strengthen the solidarity side of sports towards the most vulnerable groups and seek collaboration links with the health institution of the Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu. • Offer an alternative to sports leisure, from the popular and recreational perspective that stimulates the involvement of all objectives, both runners and neighbors in Esplugues de Llobregat. • Encourage the civic and integrative use of public space for physical and sports activity.
