Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, on behalf of Product Director Aerostats, is seeking industry partners to host a product demonstration for visiting foreign nation personnel.



Request For Information (RFI) Only: This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The RFI responding vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party-s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. This posting is associated with notice ID W56KGY24AEROSTAT_MULTIPLE_AWARD and is currently intended to be a task order under the resultant multiple award contract, however, this can be subject to change.



BACKGROUND: Aerostat systems are elevated command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms equipped with a variety of payloads to fulfill force protection, operations support, communication extension, and ISR missions. Aerostat systems can be employed during all phases of operations. Aerostat systems are responsive to the ground component of a joint warfighting force by providing weather dependent, persistent surveillance at operating locations throughout the operational area and directly enhancing the Commander-s situational understanding.
