Contamination of drinking water by radiological, chemical or biological toxins is perceived to be a real threat and without preventive measures will result to panic and chaos among the population and eventually will lead to large number of causalities. As part of Kahramaa- s (KM) mandate to provide high quality and safe drinking water free from any harmful contaminants and materials to the people of Qatar, Kahramaa, in its own initiative, has recently completed the program for a very comprehensive early warning system for Acute Toxicity Monitoring of Drinking Water for Chemical, Biological and Radiation Monitoring at Various pumping stations (RPS) in the State of Qatar: 1. MESAIMEER RPS 2. NEW SALWA RPS 3. DUHAIL RPS 4. GHARAFA RPS Considering the above critically of the systems, a 3 Years contract is essential to ensure smooth operation and continuous monitoring of Real Time System, Acute Toxicity Monitoring of Drinking Water for Chemical, Biological and Radiation Monitoring at Various pumping stations.
