SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as the state company of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (called SBH below), has the task of planning, building, maintaining and managing the school properties, taking into account school issues according to economic principles and the authority for school and vocational training (BSB). The Islandstrasse primary school is located in the Wandsbek-Nord district, in the Meiendorf district. Building 2 should be completely renovated according to RP. The primary school is to be expanded by a train to 4 addiction due to increasing number of pupils. Accordingly, the cafeteria area up to 460 meal participants is part of the renovation. As part of the expansion, an upgrade for the kitchen model was decided by a warm -up kitchen to a vital kitchen. School operations continue during the construction work.
