General Specifications:
The web-based system must focus on the generation and distribution of consumer-s water utility bills, collection and tracking of payments made by the customers, tracking and management of customer accounts (new application, connection/disconnection, repair and service requests), generate required reports as mandate by the Commission on Audit and Bureau of Internal Revenue, has reliable and consistent computation metrics and in the future, be capable to be integrated with various online payment channels to cope up with the advancements in the technology. The system data are stored on local hard drive and on cloud storage for security and reliability. It can run on any internet connected device with browser and meter reading device operates on Android device which is more affordable than the conventional Personal Digital Assistant that is previously used by the Water District.
