With this tender for general consultants, plans are being made to realize the part of the overall master plan for the former hospital site in Herning, which must "put together" the 4 new neighborhoods and which, above all, must ensure a connection between the new urban area and the rest of Herning downtown. Under headinga "PLUSSET" bids are sought for the design of four main parts of the project:
Main part 1 - The central square
Main part 2 - The area's corridors to the north, south, east and west, including the hospital garden
Main part 3 - The area's connection to Herning town centre, the Square and the city's pedestrian street via the Bethaniagade car park
Hovepart 4 - The concept for solving temporary issues in the area during the construction process
For the various main parts, a number of themes are also included that are also wanted to be worked on. These are themes such as cloudburst protection, sustainability, nature in the city, security (including terrorist protection), logistics, nowdging mv.
