Submissions are invited for the provision of collection and processing of recovered metal streams, batteries and gas bottles at Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) waste facilities. The location of each of the waste facilities is shown on the map attached in the Information Brief. TRC has a Waste Management Strategy, focusing on the drivers for change from old landfill methodologies to new resource recovery methodologies, with the aim of achieving the core objectives of: - optimising service;- increasing diversion; and - balancing cost.
