Description

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific (MRCO-P) intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed-price, non-personal services contract for Tricare Referral Registered Nurse (RN) Services to support the Tricare Operations and Patient Administration (TOPA) at the 51st Medical Group (51 MDG), Osan Air Base, South Korea. As a condition of employment, contract providers must meet all applicable credentialing requirements outlined in this PWS and all Government regulatory guidelines and be fully qualified to perform independently within the scope of their practice.

Required qualifications includes but is not limited to:



(1) The contractor shall provide Tricare Referral Registered Nurse (RN) Services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).



(2) The contractor must have knowledge and skills to effectively apply Tricare Referral RN functions: a) Assessment: Identification of patients that need special medical and education needs/management; comprehensive collection of patient information and medical status; and continued evaluation of an established plan of care; b) Planning: Collaboration with the patient, family/caregiver, primary provider and other members of the health care team for developing an effective plan of care; c) Facilitation: Care coordination and communication among all involved parties; d) Advocacy: Support for the patient and family/caregivers to ensure identified education and appropriate, timely care coordination is received. The contractor may be required to search/advise appropriate medical service providers for patients who may need special medical care based on the contractor-s medical knowledge and understanding of the Korean medical system.



(3) Degree: Official transcripts indicating completion of a bachelor-s degree in medical clinical fields (i.e., Nursing), Hospital/Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
