Description : ADVERTISEMENT FOR FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER SERVICESThe University of California, Los Angeles requests a written response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select consultants to provide Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) services from a California-licensed Fire Protection Engineer for various non-specific UCLA projects. As studies and/or projects are identified, services will be required; however, no specific schedules are currently available. The assigned study and/or project scopes of work will vary in size, cost, project type, and available information. Program, occupancy and building construction types will also vary and may include new construction, renovations, healthcare, housing, classrooms, laboratories, dining facilities, and other project types. The scope of services may include, but not be limited to, site surveys of existing conditions and systems, conceptual design, alarm system analysis, development and review of hazardous material inventory statements, peer review and code consulting regarding compliance and deficiencies with Title 24, Title 19, Title 22 (OSHPD 3) sections of the California Code of Regulations, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards and Guides, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
