The USGS - Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center (the Center) needs to acquire an underwater acoustic positioning system (USBL). The USBL system will be used by various groups in the center to facilitate accurate positioning/tracking of equipment and divers in a subsea environment. Having accurate positioning allows for higher quality datasets for geo-tagging subsea samples and photographs, diver location, and subsea equipment platform positions.
