2.1 Project title of the acquisition: Underwater search robot
2.2 Subject and scope of the contract : The Kantonspolizei Zürich needs a robot to carry out its water police tasks, particularly the search for missing persons and objects under water, with which various missions can be carried out. The spectrum should include sonar and camera-assisted search, as well as the recovery of persons and material with a gripper arm. Image information and system data are to be transmitted live via cable and the found material is to be held by the gripper arm and, if possible, recovered immediately by a cable pull. The geo-referenced navigation is to be carried out both automatically (independent tracing of a search grid, approaching specific points, etc.) and manually from the ship or from shore.
