Function/description: M1 is the first mirror in the ELISA beamline. It collimates the dipole beam vertically and creates a horizontal focus at a distance of 19400 mm. About the optical LeiTo maintain stability, although an average heat load of 1 mW/mm2 is assumed for M1, the mirror is equipped with water-cooled copper cooling plates on its long sides near the optical surface. Holes with a diameter of are used to attach the cooling plates5.5 mm used in the mirror body.
