V62_2023 - PS-GMX - X-ray detector (with hybrid pixel and single photon counting) // A new X-ray detector for BL14.1 is to be procured, which has a large detector area and is able to record 100 images of the entire detector area per second.
As one of 18 centers dIn the Helmholtz Association, the HZB employs around 1, 100 people - around 800 of them in Berlin-Wannsee and 300 in Berlin-Adlershof - and has a total budget of around 110 million euros. The HZB works closely with the universities and technical colleges in Berlin-Brandenburg.
Theres HZB operates various large-scale devices, such as the BESSY II electron storage ring and the Metrology Light Source, an optimized storage ring for the Physikalisch-Technische-Bundesanstalt (in Adlershof).
