This Special Notice of Intent (NOI) is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers.  The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Long Beach Healthcare System intends to award a task order to KCI USA, Inc. DBA 3M Medical Solutions for 1-year daily rental for V.A.C. Ulta Therapy Unit. The V.A.C. Ulta Therapy Unit meets their requirement for an integrated Wound Therapy System (Vacuum) that can provide Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, Dwell and Soak Instillation Therapy, Incision Management Therapy, and Open Abdomen Therapy. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339113. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement no later than March 20, 2024, 7:00am PST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not competing this proposed task order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
