General Procurement Notice for Various Equipment for 2 Production Units and 100 MSE Cooperatives.

The acquisition of goods and/or works will be done in accordance with the Rules and procedures of the Bank for the acquisition of goods and works. Acquisition of consulting services
will be done in accordance with the Bank's Rules and Procedures regarding the use of
consultants. The tender documents should be available in April 2024.

Specifically, the project aims to:
• capacity building,
• access to financing,
• access to infrastructure and processing equipment and
• access to markets.
Additionally, the project will provide the following opportunities:
• restructuring of cooperatives and MSEs,
• promotion of quality human resources,
• reduction of unpaid work overload for women and support for
public and private management structures.
• access of women to cashew kernel export markets will be achieved thanks to
certifications from private partners (Development Agency for the Poor:
ADPP - Cashew Promotion Center: CPC).
• intense “Information Education Communication” (IEC) activities aimed at
men and leaders for the reduction of inequalities against women in order to
that they are fully capable of conducting standardized transformation processes
products and marketing in high value-added markets.
