Banedanmark is currently preparing purchases to upgrade crossings on the Vestbanen, from unguarded crossings and crossings based on outdated relay technology, to new fully electronic crossings. Banedanmark is conducting a market survey in advance of this advance noticefor a possible tender for a contract in this regard. The purpose of the market survey is to search the market for possible suppliers who can meet Banedanmark's needs, including requirements for the above. The contract deals with the delivery and installation of 16 overpasses on the freeway, which are to replace the older oneselectricity-based crossings and unguarded crossings, for refurbished fully electronic installations. The replacement must take place continuously from the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2026 on the Vestbanen, where the crossings are distributed between Varde and N0rre Nebel. Banedanmark will demand that all the crossings must be municipalikere with the existing RMS 2000 remote control system. In addition, the facilities must be able to handle smaller interfaces in relation to passenger pressure, signals and the like. Banedanmark requires that the facilities must be type-approved for use in Denmark, including type-approved for SR 75. There are 310secured crossings on the private lanes. The 280 overpasses have already been upgraded with BUeES2000 systems. It is mainly the Vestbanen that is missing. Banedanmark has 12 recycling BUeES2000 facilities available which have been taken down in connection with rollout of the signal program.
