Description
The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is the agency charged with U.S. international broadcasting, serving a weekly audience of 410 million adults via 63 languages in approximately 100 countries. USAGM broadcasters include the Voice of America (VOA), Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), Alhurra TV (MBN), Radio Free Asia (RFA), and Radio and TV Martí (OCB).
USAGM reaches international audiences across an array of distribution outlets, including terrestrial, satellite, and cable television, radio, and, increasingly, digital, and social media.
Interested Offeror(s) will be required to provide a holistic VOD/OTT solution to expand the availability of USAGM content to would-be consumers who are not served by traditional affiliates or satellite coverage, including diaspora, and provides a catch-up service for those who missed the original broadcast of programming on affiliates or owned and operated channels.
The period of performance for this acquisition will be one year, approximately September 2023 through September 2024 with the possibility of an additional four option periods of one year each.
