Tender Details

DDLETB is seeking information from suppliers with a proven track record in the development, implementation and support of Virtual Reality to assist it in clarifying its requirements and potential options for the provision of a Technology-Enhanced Learning resource to support the delivery of training in Healthcare. It is envisaged that the TEL resource will consist of a VR solution integrated with a LMS to deliver an immersive programme to training participants. An additional goal is to enable us to augment learners' experience by incorporating an Augmented Reality toolkit, empowering them to track workplace skills for reinforced learning outcomes. Additionally, we plan to integrate Artificial Intelligence for continuous improvement feedback, offering personalised suggestions to enhance the impact of learners within the workplace. The specific aim is to create an accessible learning resource to support non-medical staff in the private Nursing Home, Home Care, Charitable Hospice ans Palliative Care sector to upskill through the development and implementation of virtual reality learning simulations of clinical and patient settings to achieve a QQI Level 6 modular, special purpose award in elderly patient care. The use of immersive technologies will be used by the learner to practice soft skills in sensitive environments they would not otherwise have access to and for the instructor to assess and track learner progress.
