Description: For neurosurgical operations, Princess Maxima Center will purchase a so-called intra-operative MRI scanner. This will be installed in a new OK to be built from the UMC Utrecht but remains the property of the Princess Maxima Center. Princess Maxima Center grantsUMC Utrecht the right to use the IO MRI for neurosurgical purposes, specifically for operating patients who are referred to UMC Utrecht by Princess Maxima Center and for scientific research. Princess Maxima Center is not a contracting authority and therefore free tochoose the supplier for the MRI. UMC Utrecht is a contracting authority that must adhere to the procurement regulations with regard to obtaining the right of use on the MRIscanner.
