A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Business or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately.

This project is for the warehousing and shipping of individual personal equipment worldwide in support of Air Force programs (with limited additional use by DOD and US GOV) to include International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) items. The warehouse shall support multiple Air Force Organizations and other customers to aid operational readiness and mission availability through the following Logistical support services:

• Inventory management of individual personal equipment utilizing the BARs software for property accountability. Utilizing the BARs software for the management/accountability of the gears for this effort is mandatory.

• Receive, store, kit, package and ship individual personal equipment

• Maintain documentation and labeling for all items received and shipped



Note: Battlefield Airmen Rapid Refresh and Replenishment (BARs) is an Air Force developed and supported asset accountability and visibility software which also provides hand-receipt like documentation for individual operator.

Warehousing includes the inventory management of approximately 155, 000 items. Shipment of items include ITAR and hazardous materials. The Contractor shall ship all Continental United States (CONUS) item requests via standard ground transportation and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) items via standard international shipping. Customs and State Department logistical support will be required. Management of inventory and software as well as facilities management and physical security of the warehouse will be required.
