Description



This is a notice of intent, NOT a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will NOT be issued, and quotations will NOT be requested.



The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Werfen USA LLC of Bedford, Massachusetts 01730-2443.



The purpose of this acquisition is to extend the lease option for the two ACL TOP 750 instruments currently in use within the Hematology Service of the Department of Laboratory Medicine. The period of performance is from February 28, 2025, to February 28, 2026.



The ACL TOP 750 analyzer is designed to deliver cutting-edge automation and quality management for both routine and specialized coagulation tests. Tailored for mid to high-volume clinical laboratories, it features automated pre-analytical sample-integrity checks, advanced support for quality and accreditation, and enhanced system security to ensure reliable results and increased lab efficiency. The instrument employs clotting, chromogenic, and immunological methodologies.
