Description
NIST has a need for two Whole Body Radiation Contamination Monitors that meets or exceeds the following draft minimum specifications:
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) has a requirement for two whole body radiation contamination monitors. Persons leaving specific areas of the NCNR need to be monitored for radioactive material. This can be performed by using whole body contamination monitors at the facility exits and requiring persons to use these when leaving the area. The NCNR currently has 3 of these whole body contamination monitors, two of which are more than 15 years old. This purchase is to replace two of the older monitors.
