Description

This is a Sources Sought announcement for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation for this requirement exists at this time. All businesses, regardless of size; capable of providing these services are invited to respond to this announcement and submit a capability statement for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine a firm's previous experience performing similar work. The capability statements will also be reviewed and used to determine an appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for information solicited. Proposed Project:The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office (YAO), maintains four wellfields, and various water-related structures that utilize 3-phase and 480v systems throughout the Yuma area. YAO has a requirement for the inspection, analysis and labeling for all 3-phase, 480v electrical cabinet systems within the wellfields, water conveyance systems, and along the Colorado River where incident energy (arc-flash) analysis is required. The work shall consist of inspecting, analyzing, and labeling all electrical cabinets, currently totaling roughly 102, containing 480v electricity. The Contractor must provide personnel to comply with this requirement. All personnel must know the working conditions within the areas of responsibilities and must ensure that all safety and security measures are being followed.The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a corresponding small business size standard of $19M.Interested firms must submit the following information:1.
