Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for a Zeiss inverted light microscope. The NAICS code is 334516 and the business size is 1000 employees.

The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis. The proposed action is for a microscope system, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with compliant products pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Zeiss equipment are the only compatible material, with no valid alternatives.
